Capt. Trent Champion, chief, Records and Board Support Division, DPB, is the ARPC Spotlight of the Week.

Captain Champion has been in the Air Force for more than 20 years. He is from Duluth, Minn., and he enjoys riding his motorcycle, traveling, skiing and reading.

What is your most memorable Air Force experience?

Receiving my commission and my temporary duty assignments to Iceland, Germany and Guam.

Why did you join the Air Force?

To serve my country and further my education.

If you could change one thing about the Air Force what would it be?

Have the Air Force work closer with local leaders to expand opportunities for young adults to serve their communities, and expand awareness and increase public support for all armed forces.

If you were not in the military, where would you be?

I'd be a history teacher and track coach in Duluth. That was my original plan after college.

What would you like to do when you retire?

I'd like to travel and live abroad.
