Waleed Sharbini, assistant operation manager in the Directorate of Personnel Services, is the ARPC Spotlight of the Week.

Mr. Sharbini has worked federal civil service for more than 15 years and at ARPC for two and a half years. He is from Nazareth, Israel, and recently celebrated 30 years as an American citizen.

Mr. Sharbini said he enjoys golfing, traveling abroad, and fishing. 

What is your most memorable experience working for the government?

The most memorable experience at ARPC was interacting and learning the process in the evolution of the Total Force Service Center. Also, in 1990, while working at McClellan Air Force Base, Calif, I had the opportunity to be a part of provisioning and the development of the F-22 Raptor. It was an exciting and challenging experience working together with Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and General Dynamics.

If you could change one thing about ARPC what would it be?

To develop a joint training program for all directorates. 

What would you like to do when you retire?

Golf, more traveling and enjoy life.
