Jon Gaines, Installation Site Manager, Directorate of Mission Support

ARPC Spotlight --  Jon Gaines, Installation Site Manager at the Air Reserve Personnel Center, is the ARPC Spotlight of the Week.

Mr. Gaines has nearly 20 years of federal civil service with the Department of Defense and State Department. He is from Tucson, Ariz., and enjoys skiing, cycling and golfing.

What is your most memorable experience working for the government? 

While working at the NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, meeting two presidents, two secretaries of State and former secretary of Defense, William Cohen. 

If you could change one thing about ARPC what would it be? 

The move to Buckley is all the change I've thought about since I've been here. 

What would you like to do when you retire? 

When I retire, I hope to ski more, cycle more places and travel. After 12 years in Europe, I still have the travel bug.
