What is your most memorable Air Force experience?

My most memorable Air Force experience was being part of Operation Jump Start in Ajo, Ariz., for nine months. Being from the midwest, it was an eye opener in regard to the drug smuggling and illegal immigrants crossing into the United States from Mexico. Working alongside the Army National Guard was an experience also.

Why did you join the Air Force?

I am patriotic, and I felt that as an American citizen it was my duty to be part of the military. I wanted to do something in my life that would be a challenge and get me out of my comfort zone.

If you could change one thing about the Air Force what would it be?

I would change how Active Duty, Reserve and Guard interact with each other.

If you were not in the military, where would you be?

I would be living in Nebraska closer to my children and immediate family.

What would you like to do when you retire?

I would like to be able to travel around the country.
