JOINT OFFICER MANAGEMENT SUMISSIONS ON HOLD (AFRC) - Self-nomination processing is currently on hold for submissions on the Defense Manpower Data Center Joint Qualification System Web site. HQ ARPC was notified recently the edit function on Joint Management Information System is not working the way it was intended. The JMIS Web site is the archive for all Joint Matters, and all data must be exactly the same as that presented to the Joint Experience Review Panel. No one can open or make any edits to packages. Joint Staff/J-1 and DMDC are actively working on this and other enhancements to the site and hopefully deliver a quick resolution, giving HQ ARPC the flexibility to edit and upload documents to the Airmen's self-nomination(s). ARPC will provide updates via the HQ ARPC Public Web site. For more information, contact HQ ARPC/DPAFJ at 1-800-525-0102. RDEDB RESULTS (AFRC) -- The annual Air Force Reserve Development Education Designation Board was held at ARPC Dec. 9-11, 2008. During the proceedings, the RDEDB designated students to attend next year's Senior Developmental Education (SDE) and Intermediate Developmental Education (IDE) schools. Seventeen officers were selected for SDE, while 20 were selected for IDE. Complete lists are available online. For more information on the RDEDB release, call 800-525-0102 and ask for Developmental Education branch. They can also be reached at arpc.dpafe@arpc.denver.af.mil. R-ODP COMPLETION (AFRC) -- Please encourage your reservists to fill out their Reserve Officer Development Plan. This plan is a vital communication link between an officer's desires and constraints, the supervisor's endorsement and the Development Team's recommendations. Force Development not only sharpens primary specialties, but also prepares us for tomorrow's wider requirements. For more information, call the Contact Center at 800-525-0102 and ask to be transferred to the Force Development Division.
