Senior Airman Adrian Rodriguez, Customer Service Counselor, Directorate of Personnel Services, is the spotlight of the week.

Airman Rodriguez has been in the Air Force for nearly five years and is from Schertz, Texas. He enjoys playing video games and traveling. Airman Rodriguez said he's also enjoying spending time with his wife before he deploys.

What is your most memorable Air Force experience?

Going overseas to Osan Air Base, South Korea was one of the best experiences I have had. I grew up and lived in Texas, for 20 years. Going and living somewhere new and seeing the world was a dream of mine, and the Air Force has given me a chance to do it.

Why did you join the Air Force?

After high school, I needed something to do, and I was tired of school. One day I was hanging out with some friends not really doing anything. I wanted to do something with my life and be a part of something big. That's when I decided to join the Air Force. I saw a recruiter that same day.

If you could change one thing about the Air Force what would it be?

So far, I like the way things are now.

If you were not in the military, where would you be? Why?

I am sure I would be doing something with computers.

What would you like to do when you retire?

I would like to travel and not work.
