Lt Cols are still eligible to apply. All AGR Lt Cols are eligible, but those in traditional unit and IMA roles must be affected by BRAC, PBD 720 or other force structure changes. Eligible Lt Cols must use the vPC-GR retirement application to apply. DEPLOYED DECORATIONS NOT PROCESSED THROUGH vPC-GR (ANG, AFRC) - Decorations recommended for service while deployed are not processed through the vPC-GR. Those nominated solely for actions during operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom will be processed through U.S. Air Forces Central. This is to ensure consistency of decorations throughout the operations. These decorations will be revoked by ARPC if processed through the vPC-GR. However, decorations being submitted for a period of time as defined in AFI 36-2803 can include bullets while deployed along with other accomplishments. For further guidance, visit the USAFCENT's Decoration Processing Unit Web page at https://wwwmil.centaf.af.mil/Directorates/A1/CENTAF%20AWARDS/main.htm from a military computer. //signed// ERIC W.
