Sandra Corson, Human Resources Specialist, Reserve of the Air Force Selection Board Secretariat, is the spotlight of the week.

Ms. Corson has been a federal civilian employee for 23 years and has been at ARPC for 20 years. She is from Chamberlain, S.D.

Ms. Corson enjoys reading -- especially a good murder mystery -- and watching the Avalanche play. She said there is nothing like a good hockey game.

What is your most memorable experience at ARPC?

The memorable times I've had at ARPC really have nothing to do with the job itself but with co-workers. When you work with people for years, you share a lot of good and bad times that leave an impression on you. I've also been fortunate enough to work with people who have a great sense of humor and sometime that's the only thing that helps you make it through the day. Laughter helps you live longer.

If you could change one thing about ARPC what would it be?

I would like to see better communication from the top down and between directorates. We can deal with change, even if it's change we don't like or want, but not knowing causes anxiety.

What would you like to do when you retire?

Whatever I do I want it to be on my schedule. I would like to spend some time traveling. There are places in the United States I've never had a chance to visit and really explore. There is still plenty of time to figure the rest out.
