ANNUAL CIVILIAN EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION ACCESS NOW ON vPC-GR (ANG, AFRC) -- Updated CEI provides Defense officials visibility of who can be called up for active military duty without jeopardizing the civilian forces responsible for safeguarding our country. Airmen now can access the OSD Guard-Reserve Portal to update their Civilian Employment Information when they log into the vPC-GR Dashboard. Beginning 60 days before their birthday, a pop-up reminder will appear when Ready Reserve Airmen log on to the vPC-GR Dashboard. The reminder will appear until the update has been completed or until their birth date. All ANG and Reserve Airmen, with the exception of Active Guard Reserve members and retirees, are required to complete this annual requirement. A link to the OSD Guard-Reserve Portal https://www.dmdc.osd.mil/Guard-ReservePortal is also located on the vPC-GR home page to help Airmen update their CEI. SPACE A TRAVEL FOR FAMILIES OF DEPLOYED (ANG, AFRC) -- Spouses and children of ANG and Reserve personnel deployed 120 consecutive days or longer can use military transport in CONUS, to/from CONUS, and within/between theater, provided they have a verification letter from the Airman's commander. This is only for the duration of the deployment and is a privilege, not an entitlement or guarantee. Family members may travel unaccompanied in a Class IV status. Further Space A Travel information may be found at http://www.amc.af.mil/questions/topic.asp?id=380. ADVERSE ACTION NOTIFICATION (ANG, AFRC) -- The ARPC Retirements and Separations Division requests the continued support of all commanders and program managers in identifying those Airmen facing adverse administrative action when they apply for retirement. As part of the approval process, the vPC-GR retirement application requires the signatures of CCs and PMs, along with their recommendation of approval or disapproval. Please verify there are no pending adverse actions involving the Airman before approving. If CCs/PMs recommend disapproval, please annotate in the remarks section "Pending Adverse Action". Appropriate MPF or base-level personnel need to ensure the proper Duty Status and Assignment Availability codes are input into MILPDS before forwarding the application.
