vPC-GR Decorations Nomination Improvement, September UTA support

Commanders/Directors, Decorations Nomination Improvement: ARPC continues to seek improvement to provide the best service for vPC-GR online applications and to develop solutions to the issues our customers have identified. We would like you to know that your concerns are heard and many will be resolved during the next upgrades.

Recently, ARPC implemented improvements to the e-mail notifications generated by decoration nominations, of which 5,148 have been completed to date with a remarkable end-point turn-around-time of three days and a self-reported 88 percent customer satisfaction rate. This improvement facilitates the vPC-GR connection for the coordinator and reviewer. Although the current e-mail coordination process will be eliminated with the expected October launch of the new vPC-GR Dashboard, step-by-step instructions were also added to the e-mail notifications to provide additional guidance.

Weekend UTA Support: Reserve Personnel Contact Center counselors are on duty to serve you and your Airmen Sept. 8 - 9 from 0730-1600 MT. This enhanced customer service gives drilling Reservists and Guardsmen the opportunity to speak with a customer service counselor during their primary UTA. Counselors will handle the major proportion of inquiries through first-time resolution procedures and knowledge. This is the first UTA where ARPC will also have select subject matter technicians on duty to handle inquiries. Where demand has not justified other Tier 2 presence, those matters will be escalated to ARPC back-shops through the case management system with written affirmation to customers.
