A team from the Air Reserve Personnel Center here was selected as a 2007 Air Force Reserve Command Team Excellence Award winner.

Maj. Gen. Allan R. Poulin, the command's vice commander, announced the selection of the Air Reserve Component Personnel Services Delivery Transformation Systems Team as one of two recipients in a memorandum received June 5.

"This award reflects the best in the Air Force Reserve, and I congratulate both teams for outstanding performance and dedication in earning the honor of this award," General Poulin wrote. "These two teams will be submitted for the Chief of Staff Team Excellence Award as our MAJCOM's representatives."

Launched in late 2005, the systems team provides the platform to streamline personnel processes, move processes from the field to ARPC, and allow Airmen to initiate most actions without military personnel flight assistance.

Team members developed ways to obtain data feeds from the Military Personnel Data System and resolved issues in integrating extracted data into databases used in the ARPC case management system and the Web site used by customers to access the applications.

The team also used the capabilities of the commercial off-the-shelf software that forms the basis for ARPC's case management and virtual support systems to the fullest extent.

Members of the team are: Craig Carter, Dave Gallop, Roy Henkel, Janis Jackson, Jeff Jaszkowiak, Thomas Laursen, Master Sgt. Laramie Reece, Dale Robinson and Greg Zipprich.
