Service date changes added for Guardsmen Published May 3, 2007 DENVER -- Air National Guard Airmen will be able to request changes and corrections to their military service dates online through the virtual Personnel Center - Guard and Reserve starting May 3. Before this addition, these Airmen had to visit their servicing military personnel flights to make any corrections to their MSDs. This online capability is not yet available to the Air Force Reserve. Airmen can review their Data Verification Brief on the virtual Military Personnel Flight at www.afpc.randolph.af.mil/vs/. If they find service date inaccuracies -- which can include current grade, date of rank, pay date, date initial entry uniformed service -- they can log onto vPC-GR. From here, they select "Military Service Date Changes/Corrections." Then, they complete the required information and indicate the type of change or correction by using the drop-down menus of the "Request Category and Request Type." Airmen can also attach source documents with the request. Once the request has been submitted, the customer is e-mailed a tracking number. The Reserve Personnel Contact Center at the Air Reserve Personnel Center here will research the request and make the adjustments accordingly. More information is available by calling the contact center at 800-525-0102.
