In her efforts to improve Force Integration amongst the Air National Guard, Air Force
Reserve and active duty, Maj. Gen. Rita Aragon, Air National Guard assistant to the deputy chief of staff for manpower and personnel, visited the Air Reserve Personnel Center on Jan. 19.

"My biggest goal right now is Force Integration," General Aragon said. "Making sure Guard and Reserve interact - that we walk alike, talk alike - that way, the Air Force works better, the active duty understands us better."

During her visit, the general toured the contact center and promotion board room, and saw how ARPC provides personnel services to Air National Guardsmen worldwide.  "I think every Guardsman is going to be impacted by how quickly, how accurately and how professionally things are moving at ARPC. It is going to effect every aspect of his career."

General Aragon was assigned to her position as the senior Guard officer responsible for civilian and personnel management in September 2006. In 2003, she became the first female general in the Oklahoma Air National Guard.
