ARPC announces colonel promotions

Air Reserve Personnel Center officials here announced results for the 2014 Air Force Reserve Line and Nonline Colonel Promotion Selection Boards today.

The selection boards convened at the center Oct. 6, 2014 to determine those officers qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 183 of 1,678 officers considered for promotion to colonel.

Categories considered during these promotion boards were: Air Force Reserve Line, Chaplain, Dental Corps, Line of the Air Force-Judge Advocate, Medical Corps, Nurses Corps, Medical Service Corps and Biomedical Sciences Corps.

Participating Reserve
- 76 Line officers selected from 385 considered for a 20 percent selection rate.
- Two Chaplains selected from four considered for a 50 percent selection rate.
- One DC officer selected from seven considered for a 14 percent selection rate.
- 10 LAF-J officers selected from 41 considered for a 24 percent selection rate.
- Six NC officers selected from 33 considered for a 18 percent selection rate.
- Eight MC officers selected from 34 considered for a 24 percent selection rate.
- Three MSC officers selected from 15 considered for a 20 percent selection rate.
- No BSC officers selected from 11 considered for a zero percent selection rate.

Nonparticipating Reserve
- No Line officers selected from seven considered for a zero selection rate.
- No Chaplains considered.

- No NC officers selected from one considered for a zero percent selection rate.
- One MC officer selected from 10 considered for a 10 percent selection rate.
