The commander of HQ Individual Reservist Readiness and Integration Organization, Buckley Air Force Base, Colo., held his first commander's call here July 2 following the inactivation ceremony of the Readiness Management Group.

Col. Christopher Cronce, commander of HQ IRRIO, conducted medal presentations and delivered his expectations to 70 RMG members, to include detachment program managers and superintendents.

"We need to continue to ask ourselves: How can we make this transition more successful and what can I do to make this process better?" Cronce said. "We have to be flexible and we will have to adapt as we continue our transformational journey."

HQ IRRIO was activated Feb. 1, 2014 at Buckley AFB as a subordinate organization to ARPC because of the A1 transformation. When fully operational, it will integrate more than 7,000 Air Force Reserve individual reservists into active-duty units to meet Air Force and combatant commander requirements.

"We must continue to be united, because unity has been and will continue to be one of our strengths. We are a family, and although the organization's name will change, that fact will not," Cronce said.
