Six ARPC members promoted to technical sergeant

Six active duty members from Air Reserve Personnel Center were notified of selection to technical sergeant during the 2014 promotion release June 26. ARPC selection rate was double the Air Force average. They were part of 47 Team Buckley members to make promotion.

Of more than 38,000 eligible staff sergeants in the Air Force, only 6,684 have been selected for promotion, with a selection rate of 17.43 percent. ARPC had a 35% promotion rate among all eligible staff sergeants in the center.

The average overall score for Air Force selectees was 337.23. Selectees' average time in grade is 5.30 years and time in service is 10.53 years. Their average enlisted performance report score is 133.02 and the average decoration score is 6.01. Selectees' average promotion fitness examination score is 68.89

Selectee promotions will begin in August, in order of promotion sequence numbers.

Selections are tentative until the data verification process is complete, which is no later than 10 days after the promotion release date. Personnel officials will notify Airmen, via military personnel sections, if their selection is in question.

The list will be accessible on the Air Force Personnel Center public news page and social media sites, the Air Force Personnel Services website, and the Air Force Portal.
