ARPC announces colonel promotions

Air Reserve Personnel Center officials here announced results for the 2013 Air Force Reserve Line and Nonline Colonel Promotion Selection Boards today.

The selection boards convened at the center Nov. 4, 2013 to determine those officers qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 226 of 1,840 officers considered for promotion to colonel.

Categories considered during these promotion boards were: Air Force Reserve Line, Chaplain, Dental Corps, Line of the Air Force-Judge Advocate, Medical Corps, Nurses Corps, Medical Service Corps and Biomedical Sciences Corps.

- 101 line officers selected from 539 considered for a 19 percent selection rate.
- Two chaplains selected from four considered for a 50 percent selection rate.
- Three DC officers selected from six considered for a 50 percent selection rate.
- Five LAF-J officers selected from 24 considered for a 21 percent selection rate.
- Five MC officers selected from 34 considered for a 15 percent selection rate.
- Seven NC officers selected from 33 considered for a 21 percent selection rate.
- Four MSC officers selected from 13 considered for a 31 percent selection rate.
- One BSC officer selected from 8 considered for a 13 percent selection rate.

Nonparticipating Reserve
- No line officers selected from 10 considered.
- No chaplains considered.
- No DC officers selected from two considered.
- No LAF-J officers considered.
- No MC officers selected from seven considered.
- No NC officers selected from three considered.
- No MSC officers selected from two considered.
- No BSC officers considered.
