ARPC officials announce Major promotions

Air Reserve Personnel Center officials announced results for the Calendar 2015 Air Force Reserve Line and Nonline Major Promotion Selection board April 8. The selection board convened at the center Feb. 2 - 6 to determine those officers qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 649 of 1,839 officers considered.

A complete list of Citizen Airmen selected for promotion is available on the myPers and ARPC websites.

Categories considered during these promotion boards were: Air Force Reserve Line, Chaplain, Dental Corps, Line Air Force - Judge Advocate, Medical Corps, Nurse Corps, Medical Service Corps and Biomedical Sciences Corps.

Selection statistics in-the-promotion zone:
- 337 Line officers selected from 433 considered for a 78 percent selection rate.
- Seven Chaplain officers selected from 14 considered for a 50 percent selection rate.
- Six DC officers selected from seven considered for an 86 percent selection rate.
- 20 LAF-J officers selected from 24 considered for an 83 percent selection rate.
- 14 MC officers selected from 16 considered for an 88 percent selection rate.
- 41 NC officers selected from 48 considered for an 85 percent selection rate.
- Eight MSC officers selected from nine considered for an 89 percent selection rate.
