Just like most Americans, the Air Reserve Personnel loves birthdays. To commemorate the Air Force Reserve’s 67th birthday this year, ARPC decided to pull a Flat-Stanley.

Armed with the new 67th anniversary logo, ARPC printed a graphic banner and, just like Flat Stanley projects where men and women took personal photos with a printed version of a small fictional character from the 1964 children’s book Flat Stanley, the banner saw its way around a variety of events.

Those photos included groups and events like the junior enlisted call, Pretrained Individual Manpower meeting, 460th Space Wing biomedical science corps, the Headquarters Readiness & Integration Organization visit to Heather Gardens, and civilian faces like local civic leaders and several Colorado Rockies baseball players. Photos were even taken with city proclamations celebrating the 67th anniversary from Commerce City, Denver and Aurora, Colorado.
