ARPC announces ANG Lieutenant Colonel and Major promotions Published Sept. 15, 2015 By Cindy Dewey, ARPC Public Affairs BUCKLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Colo. -- Air Reserve Personnel Center officials announced results for the 2015 Air National Guard Lieutenant Colonel and Major Promotion Selection Boards (A0415A, A0515A) today. The selection boards convened at ARPC July 13 to determine those officers best qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 669 of 840 Air National Guard officers considered. A complete list of Airmen selected for promotion is available on myPers or the ARPC website. Categories considered are: Air National Guard Line, Chaplain, Dental Corps (DC), Line of the Air Force - Judge Advocate (LAF-J), Medical Corps (MC), Nurse Corps (NC), Medical Service Corps (MSC) and Biomedical Sciences Corps (BSC) officers. The results are: Selection statistics in-the-promotion zone: To lieutenant colonel -- 276 line officers were selected from 341 considered for an 81 percent selection rate. -- Six chaplain officers were selected from six considered for a 100 percent selection rate. -- Four DC officers were selected from five considered for an 80 percent selection rate. -- Two LAF-J officers were selected from three considered for a 67 percent selection rate. -- 16 MC officers were selected from 20 considered for an 80 percent selection rate. -- Nine NC officers were selected from 13 considered for a 69 percent selection rate. -- Seven MSC officers were selected from seven considered for a 100 percent selection rate. -- Seven BSC officers were selected from nine considered for a 78 percent selection rate. To major -- 211 line officers were selected from 236 considered for an 89 percent selection rate. -- Four chaplain officers were selected from five considered for an 80 percent selection rate. -- Four DC officers were selected from four considered for a 100 percent selection rate. -- Six LAF-J officers were selected from six considered for a 100 percent selection rate. -- Five MC officers were selected from six considered for an 83 percent selection rate. -- 20 NC officers were selected from 24 considered for an 83 percent selection rate. -- Four MSC officers were selected from five considered for an 80 percent selection rate. -- 15 BSC officers were selected from 18 considered for an 83 percent selection rate.
