National Disability Employment Awareness Month

October marks the observance of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. To raise awareness about disability employment issues and to celebrate the many and varied contributions of America's workers with disabilities, the U.S. Congress, in 1988, established October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
