Gabe Camarillo, Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, was greeted by Brig. Gen. Samuel "Bo" Mahaney, Air Reserve Personnel Center commander, during his visit to the ARPC headquarters here March 16, 2016.

He was provided an ARPC mission brief and tour of the building where he received briefings from directorates including the Total Force Service Center, Reserve of the Air Force Selection Board Secretariat and Future Operations and Integration. Camarillo’s visit included having lunch with ARPC’s annual award winners.

Camarillo was nominated by the president and, in December 2015, confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve as the official responsible for overall supervision of manpower and Reserve component affairs of the Department of the Air Force. Camarillo heads a four-division department that develops policy and provides oversight of manpower, military and civilian personnel issues, Reserve component affairs and readiness support for the Department.
