ARPC announces Major promotions

Air Reserve Personnel Center officials announced results for the Calendar 2016 Air Force Reserve Line and Nonline Major Promotion Selection board April 8. The selection board convened at the center Feb. 1 - 6 to determine those officers qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 573 of 1,799 officers considered.

Categories considered during these promotion boards were: Air Force Reserve Line, Chaplain, Dental Corps, Line Air Force - Judge Advocate, Medical Corps, Nurse Corps, Medical Service Corps and Biomedical Sciences Corps.

- 272 Line officers selected from 347 considered for a 78 percent selection rate.
