Father and son take Oath of Enlistment
1st Lt. April Harker, 310 Force Support Squadron acting operations officer, gives the Oath of Enlistment to Staff Sgt. Conrad Jones, Air Reserve Personnel Center education and training manager, and his son Brenden Jones Feb. 13, 2012, on Buckley Air Force Base, Colo. Sergeant Jones, who has been in the Air Force nine years, re-enlisted for six years. Brenden, who will be assigned to Peterson AFB, Colo., enlisted for six years as a surgery technician. Brenden plans to apply at the Air Force Academy his freshman and sophomore years of college from the Air Force Reserves. His long-term plan is to become an Air Force pediatric surgeon.
