WWII ex-POW veteran receives medals, thanks ARPC professionals

Former 1st Lt. Clayton A. Nattier, a veteran bomber pilot who was held as a prisoner of war during World War II, goes over the medals he received from the Air Reserve Personnel Center with Jacqueline Bing, sustainment division chief, April 17, 2015, on Buckley Air Force Base, Colo. Nattier visited ARPC to receive his POW Medal among various other medals, then took time to personally meet and thank the members on the recognition service team who assisted him. Along with Bing, other members from the ARPC recognition service team who assisted Nattier are: retired Brig. Gen. Pat Quisenberry, evaluations branch chief, Master Sgt. Jeremy Bohn, pre-trained individual manpower division chief, and Master Sgt. Richard Grybos, NCO in charge of training and development. Nattier worked in conjunction with retired Lt. Col. Kathryn Wirkus, a constituent service representative from U.S. representative Ed Perlmutter’s staff, to attain his POW Medal. A formal presentation to award the POW Medal to Nattier is currently being planned by U.S. representative Ed Perlmutter’s office. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Rob Hazelett)
