The Transition Assistance Program is a Congressionally-mandated benefits and services program designed to prepare Individual Reservists for a successful transition to civilian life. Any Individual Reservist who has served on continuous Title 10 active-duty orders of 180 days or longer since November 2012 is required to participate in the program. Members must complete TAP during their qualifying tour. Members who fail to complete TAP may be denied future orders until they have completed the program.
To complete the requirement, Airmen must complete the following items:
- Pre-Separation Briefing
- Transition GPS (Department of Labor Employment Workshop and Veterans Affairs Benefits Briefings)
- (Optional) T-GPS Tracks
There are virtual and in-person options available to complete TAP. Please select the option below that is right for your situation.
