In June 2000, Pres. William J. Clinton established “Gay and Lesbian Pride Month.” Pres. Barack H. Obama changed it to “LGBT Pride Month” in June 2009. This month, in celebration of our diversity, the Buckley Public Affairs office highlighted one of ARPCs own, Tech. Sgt. Nykita Stoudemire from DPA!
Brigadier General Moore, ARPC Commander, Command Chief Master Sergeant Masters and our ARPC Directors hosted a mission brief and lunch gathering for our two Honorary Commanders, Gian Gandolpho (right center) and Kristi Kleiholz (left center). The mission of the ARPC Honorary Commander's Program is twofold; first, to educate key community leaders about the ARPC mission and to foster a supportive relationship with our community, and second, to increase military involvement in civic endeavors, bringing members of the local community into our ARPC family.
