Last night, the Team Buckley Airman Leadership School graduated Flight 19F. Amongst the graduates is one of our own, SrA Joanne Skafidas. Congratulations to Chief Master Sgt. Billie Baber, the incoming Command Chief for Headquarters Air Reserve Personnel Center. For a few more weeks before assuming her new position, Chief Baber will continue to serve in her current role as Command Chief, Individual Reserve Readiness and Integration Organization (HQ RIO), Buckley AFB CO, where she advises the RIO commander on matters influencing health, morale, welfare, and effective utilization of more than 7,600 officer and enlisted individual reservists and 130 full-time Airmen who support 10 major and nine combatant commands around the globe. "I am confident that Chief Baber will continue building on the foundation of resilience, empowerment, and professionalism institutionalized by Command Chief Masters (expected to depart HQ ARPC later this month)," said HQ ARPC Commander Kelli Smiley. "As our Senior Enlisted Leader, Chief Baber will be a champion for the men and women of ARPC and represent us with strategic excellence at the MAJCOM and throughout the AF community!"
